Dear Elizabeth,
I'm nervous about contacting you but feel compelled. I'm not sure if you can help.
I had a troubled relationship with my mother who died last year. I did all I could for her throughout her life. Over the last few years of her life we seemed to get on really well. I believe she loved me, in her way, and I loved her. However, her will was really cruel and hurt me a great deal; she went against my father's wishes (he died 2 years ago) and her many promises to me. It's not the money, but the deceit and emotional pain I'm finding hard. I'd dearly love to know why she did what she did. Do you think you can help?
